Death Knell Press is an indie publishing company dedicated to creating great works of dark fiction. Despite hardships, we will press on through the sounding of the death knell, defiant of its torment, and continue to create in this tumultuous world.
Originally La Red Books (started by Red Lagoe in 2012), Death Knell Press is the reimagined, rebranded imprint which will focus on the macabre. Since the company was founded by an indie author, we understand that there is no business without our creators, so we will always put royalty earnings into the pockets of authors and creators first.
We have a few projects in the works, including an anthology of night sky horror, a collection from author Laurel Hightower, and a Virginia horror anthology.
